Lori Mancini is always striving for relevant ways to bring meaning to the mat. A mix of movement, playfulness and carefully chosen words are woven to create a unique yoga experience. Lori is a E-RYT200 certified yoga teacher, devoted student, yoga studio owner, writer and ESPN sports producer.
Between her love of Boston sports, yoga, and communication, Lori believes in meeting passion, loyalty and dedication in all areas of her life. She has had the pleasure of studying with Seane Corn, Saul David Raye, Jason Crandell, and her favorite teacher and mentor, Debbie Valois. As a dedicated student and teacher of the Flow, Debbie offers an approach to yoga that is both playful and transformative. Through creative and carefully designed sequencing, Debbie offers space for students of all levels to gently come to their evolutionary edge with grace and joy while cultivating strength and humility.
Debbie is honored to have done the majority of her formal training with Shiva Rea’s Samudra School for Living Yoga and she has also had the pleasure of studying with Seane Corn, Rod Stryker, Ana Forrest and many other respected teachers. She is also certified in Level 1 Thai Massage and has become a Certified Facilitator and Facilitator Trainer of the Embody Love Worshops which is part of the Embody Love Movement ( a project near and dear to her heart). Debbie has also found a new love in Arielle Arts and is training locally in RI with Amanda Cortellesso and Anna Coffey .
Coral Brown is a licensed mental health counselor and draws on her extensive experience in yoga, philosophy, and holistic counseling to provide fertile, open space for the processes of healing and transformation. Her integrative yet lighthearted approach invites students to unite mind, body, and spirit to transcend physical asana and create space for a conscious evolution that aligns with their own natural rhythms. Coral is a senior teacher of Prana Vinyasa Flow , the director of 200- and 500- hour teacher training programs, and the founder of Turnagain Wellness, a holistic healing collaborative which operates out of Laughing Elephant. She leads retreats and workshops worldwide. Sharon holds a (RYT-200) certification in Prana Flow under the teaching of Coral Brown and is and is currently awaiting a (RYT-200) certification in Wild Wisdom Vinyasa under the teaching of Jessie Dwiggins. She is a certified embody love facilitator under the teaching of her mentor Debbie Valois and has facilitated and participated in workshops. She has a Masters in Science and a career in biotechnology as well as a general love of science, nutrition and the human body.
She has a physical and spiritual strength to her teaching that is compelling and comforting. Her classes offer students the ability to explore poses using intelligent sequencing and body movement with a funky flow that allows for playfulness and exploration.
Jessie Dwiggins’ passion for yoga is evident in her classes. Her classes emphasize healthy alignment and exploration of breath. As the poses evolve and become more challenging, you will explore and push your physical, mental, and emotional boundaries. Jessie will motivate you, talk you through your head games, and guide you into advanced poses safely. She will create a space for you to look inward and love yourself. Each class is fresh and unexpected, from the poses to the music, but students can expect a strong, renewing, and stretchy practice. In addition to teaching group classes, Jessie tailors therapeutic yoga sequences for clients in one-on-one sessions, and facilitates mindful-eating workshops.
It was her personal transformation that led Jessie to discover her enthusiasm for teaching yoga and mindful-eating. Jessie started practicing yoga purely for exercise and soon discovered it was so much more. Yoga helped to calm her anxiety, allowed her to reconnect with herself, and taught her to recognize what her body is capable of and appreciate her ever-evolving appearance. Jessie’s experience was so powerful and transformative she began teaching yoga to share her personal insights.
Jessie has been teaching Forrest Yoga and Power Yoga since 2007 and practicing since 2003. She graduated from both the Foundational and Advanced Teacher Training programs with Ana Forrest and is a registered yoga teacher at the 200-hour level. Jessie holds undergraduate degrees in nutrition and exercise physiology and a graduate degree in nutrition. She is also a licensed Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating facilitator and certified Wellness Coach.
Lisa Rae, RYT-500, has over 18 years of experience teaching yoga in both yoga studios and health club settings. She is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. She received her 200-hour and 500-hour certifications in Prana Flow Yoga, a Shiva Rea yoga teacher training program. Lisa is also a prenatal yoga teacher, certified at the 40-hour level with Five Points Yoga in Cambridge, MA. Before discovering yoga, Lisa spent many years teaching group fitness classes in Rhode Island. Lisa loves the freedom that yoga brings to the body, mind, and spirit for yogis of any age and ability, whether in a flowing vinyasa practice or in a basic yoga class. When she is not practicing yoga on the mat, Lisa lives her yoga as the mother of two children and as the Office Manager at a local fitness equipment business she shares with her husband.
Dee Picone has a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and has recently received 200 RYT in Prana Flow. She has enjoyed practicing yoga for over 10 years and has always incorporated fitness into her daily lifestyle. Her teaching style is very enthusiastic and nurturing, come see for yourself!
Megan Eddy is a yoga instructor, world traveler, local bartender and marathon runner. Her mission is to educate her students on the importance of body awareness.
Our bodies are constantly telling us stories and we either don’t listen or don’t know how to interpret what they are trying to tell us. She believes if we are educated about the way our bodies work and how we move through space, we can decipher what they need and become active participants in regaining and maintaining our optimal health.

Aeriel loves Yoga! She loves practicing, teaching and exploring all the ways the practice of yoga shows up in her life on and off the mat. She invites her students to explore the power and movement of breath in each pose, inviting greater awareness for each individual in finding their way to greater freedom and well-being in their life.
Aeriel has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with 25 years’ experience working with individuals impacted by chronic mental health issues, trauma, substance abuse, depression and anxiety as well as various injuries and health issues. Aeriel is foundationally trained and mentored in the style of Forrest Yoga and is certified as a Trauma Sensitive yoga teacher through the Justice Institute. Aeriel has also studied and had training in Ashtanga Yoga, Structural yoga for injuries, Mindfulness Meditation, and Yoga Nidra.
As a mother of three children Elisabeth relies on yoga to bring her back to center daily! Years of classical dance training initially led her to yoga to balance and heal her body and she has been a student ever since. Teaching since 2009, Elisabeth received her 200hr training through Spirit Tree Yoga with Cathy Cesario at All That Matters. In 2013 she began the process of getting her 500hr training in Prana Flow Yoga with Coral Brown & Debbie Valois. She also holds a level one certificate in Restorative Yoga with Sudha Carolyn Lundeen.

Tricia Kennedy Nikodem
Tricia discovered yoga in 2000 and experienced a powerful transformative effect. Yoga fed her inside with self-discovery, balance, and acceptance. Tricia, 200 RYT, is a certified Prana Flow teacher and she is currently studying for her 500 RYT with Coral Brown, Shiva Rea’s Senior Prana Flow Teacher. Tricia has also studied with many international teachers such as Sean Corne, Ana Forrest, Sri Dharma Mittra, Rodney Yee, Bryan Kest, David Swenson, Baron Baptiste, etc. Tricia’s easy going fun style classes are both challenging and restorative. Through her classes, she seeks to help all students befriend their bodies and themselves, learning to honor each moment and cultivate a rhythm of conscious evolution. Nina Ricci, RYT 500 is a Prana Flow Yoga Teacher and is certified through Shiva Rea’s Samudra School by the program taught by Senior teacher Coral Brown.
Nina has been a avid runner and cyclist for years and added yoga to her daily training ten years ago. With this experience, Nina has developed a yoga for athletes class which aides in bringing the body back into balance after years of repetitious movement.
Nina has also studied under Ana Forrest, Seane Corne, and Shiva Rea, and has over ten years of experience in this field.
Nina’s classes embody strength and balance, with a soulful, funky, fun flow.
Nina is also available for private classes.
Shane holds an RYT-500 certification in Prana Vinyasa Flow, trained by Coral and Debbie. Professionally, Shane is a personal trainer and runs his own studio within our building. There he utilizes applied neurology to get results for his clients. He formerly researched human movement for the US Army. He integrates this broad and dynamic background into a fluid class that focuses on brain, body, and breath.
His yoga journey began in 2008 when he discovered yoga after hurting his back. Yoga played such a large role in his recovery that he wanted to learn more so that he could deepen his own practice. Once his personal practice came to life, Shane soon felt the desire to share the benefits and challenges of yoga with others. His natural affinity for supporting and helping others found a natural outlet leading yoga classes, and he looks forward to sharing all he has to offer.
Ann Porto, PsyD, a licensed clinical psychologist, has studied and practiced Transcendental (TM) and Vipassana meditation since the early l970’s. She is currently studying and practicing Dzogchen and Mahamudra and other advanced practices with Tibetan and American teaches in the NY and Massachusetts areas.
She currently teaches meditation and invites all levels of students to the support Sangha held at Laughing Elephant Yoga Studio on Main Street in East Greenwich every Wed. morning from 8:30-9:30 AM. Seeking relief from chronic back pain her massage therapist encouraged her to try a yoga class or two. Slowly her love of yoga grew as she began to experience small physical, mental, and emotional changes each time she practiced. Six years later and counting she continues to reap benefits on and off the mat.
Julie creates space for her students to re-energize through the practice of Vinyasa flow. Her classes focus on gaining flexibility and strength through integrated postures in a relaxed , kindhearted environment.
Julie is a registered Yoga Alliance teacher who recently completed her Prana Flow 200 HR teacher training at Laughing Elephant Yoga and is currently enrolled in their 500 HR program.
