Happiness is tangible in the Summer. The coconut smell of sunscreen wafts in the air, shorts, tees and flip flops are the uniform of choice, and the mood and smiles are usually carefree and easy. Be it by the beach or in the backyard, life seems so much easier. Is it because we simplify, and take joy in the little things? Or is it because we take the time to be in the moment, get plugged in and recharge? That we learn, fleetingly, to love the life we live.
Ghandi said ‘Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.” He is right on. And I bet Ghandi said it in the Summer.
