Calm after the storm
We are grateful to have weathered the storm.
We are grateful for family and friends who care for us.
We are grateful to realize that the power strongly comes from within, even when our power is out.
We are grateful for the Full Moon that lit our way these last nights when the velvety darkness was scary..
We are grateful for the unexpected uninterrupted time with loved ones.
We are grateful for our space…for the L to the E to the Y….
Be safe, be happy…and love all ways.
Our Beautiful Bay
Happiness is tangible in the Summer. The coconut smell of sunscreen wafts in the air, shorts, tees and flip flops are the uniform of choice, and the mood and smiles are usually carefree and easy. Be it by the beach or in the backyard, life seems so much easier. Is it because we simplify, and take joy in the little things? Or is it because we take the time to be in the moment, get plugged in and recharge? That we learn, fleetingly, to love the life we live.
Ghandi said ‘Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.” He is right on. And I bet Ghandi said it in the Summer.
Narragansett has the most amazing ‘event’ happening right under our noses… Check out these rocks precariously balanced atop one another; cairns marking the passing of another beach day. (more…)
